Lost: One friend

Can anybody tell me?
Why is it death I long?
Can anyone hear my plea?
Losing a friend isn't nice you know
How did I know it was going to be so?
That she would go
Far away. Drift away.
Why can't I cry no more?
Has the well of tears been dried?
Is it all the pain and gore
She wants from someone having died
Why is it that I can't cope?
Is it my life that I must grope?
I turn away with all the pain. |

My best friend of sixteen years left school and I was pretty much left friendless. I hated her for it, I nearly killed myself over it. I still hate her.
