» Poem: Silence
Silence
written by izzzy
07:18 AM 10/19/04
Silence searches it's soul
For the mayhem Life leaves behind
All chaotic, Silence falls in the room
And leaves behind a sence of wonder and awe

The victory over Silence is celebrated by Life
Resuming the chaos and mayhem that we
Have become to know and love

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
Think of Silence and Life as first what they are; one the absence of sound and the other as a part of creation. Then think of Silence and Life as a person named Silence and another named Life. Silence is obviously the timid one and Life is the outgoing and wild one who picks on Silence
