» Poem: Sleepless nights continual
Sleepless nights continual
written by izzzy
07:32 AM 10/19/04
A certain numbness in the limbs
Makes it so surreal
Ebbing away at the livelihood
Unabled to be healed
Laughter at the worst o times
Tears at the best
Driving it's way into her soul
There is no time for rest
Sleepless nights continual
Watch the clock beating
Standing at the Pearly Gates
Afraid of whom she's meeting
Led off to the side
Told 'go back to bed'
She tried again the next night
And this time she was dead
