» Poem: Turn away those wishes
Turn away those wishes
written by izzzy
04:19 AM 10/20/04
Turn away those eyes
For I am crying
Not beautiful in any respect

Turn away those eyes
For I'm dying
But I mean no disrespect

A tear shed for humanity
A cry sounded for hope
A groan is uttered
Out of the dying person's mouth

A person praying so they may cope
And a wish is sent up high
To the Lord of the sky
In hope that I may never die
Or have to say a sad Goodbye

And this wish is giving life to the world
That wish is sending life into the little girl
Tell me my friend
Is this the end?
Because I don't know
I seriously don't know

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
A person wanting to sheild the entire world from their pain because they feel that it isn't theirs to be burdened by. But they sent a wish and it saved a whole world not just them.
