» Poem: Running Away
Running Away
written by Broken Phoenix
08:16 PM 10/20/04
Away in the world
All cruled up in a ball
Slowly, slowly you tip toe down the hall
Into the kitchen and through the front door
You zip up your jacket you wont take no more
You pick up your bag and unlock your bike
Your running away your sick of the fight
Away you go down the road
Your wondering how you will hold
Up agaisnt all the odds
You remeber how she only gave you nodds
But sometimes emotnal is worst
It bubbles and burns destory your heart frist
You look at your watch its quarter to five
And your hopeing youll survive
But then you remeber all the punshes
Then you crash into the rushes
You lay there and try not to cry
But there are too many reasons why
Your pooring out your insides
All the pain of your life
Comes rushing out with such a blast
You wonder how long this feeling will last
Then you hear a horn
And it all fadds to black
But its not over yet soon theyll be taking you back
