» Poem: holding my sin
holding my sin
written by Poison Ivy
01:00 AM 10/21/04
you look too bereaved, should I be worried?
I have your blood on my hands
a moment like this I’ve never seen
and I wish I never saw this.
I set you on the bed
I cry while I wait.
The spot I lay you down is now drenched in your blood.
So goddamn red
now look away while I fade with you.
So I reach in the wound
your holding my life-worth of sin
why did I loose control?
This is too much for me
I’m so afraid of losing you.
Fading into the darkness- I’m waiting
changing to my newer life
the one I don’t want, but the one I’m taking
given to me the pain I’ve held so long
but I cant take a chance
I don’t know what to do
I’m sorry, I cant stop the bleeding
I’m sorry our love had to break.
reach in the wound
after you leave
I’ll be here holding your sin
