One thousand tears
written by Schizophrenic_broken06:53 PM 10/21/04You are the tear in my eye,
The hatred in a lullaby.
You hurt me and you played me,
Yet still you came to save me.
You are the voice in my head,
I don’t know what you said.
I always knew that it was wrong,
Yet you were there to make me strong.
A thousand tears I’ve cried for you,
Every night that’s what I’d do.
Inside my head, I hear you call,
You stand and watch me as I fall.
You push me down again, again,
Is it the same with all these men?
A pinprick in my heart,
Says we’ll never be apart.
Yet is that what I want?
You are the kiss, the tingle on my face,
I’m dressed for morning, black ‘n’ lace.
Our love I mourn the death of now,
I still feel bad I don’t know how.
The tear on my pillow, it’s you,
I still can’t tell what to do.
Don’t know where to turn,
And now this love can’t burn
A thousand tears I’ve cried for you,
Every night that’s what I’d do.
Inside my head, I hear you call,
You stand and watch me as I fall.
You push me down again, again,
Is it the same with all these men?
A pinprick in my heart,
Says we’ll never be apart.
Yet is that what I want?
