Save me from tomorrow
written by Trapezium01:43 PM 10/22/04Isn't anyone going to save me,
From being what I hate,
Are you just going to watch me,
Become the nothing I create.
Can't anyone see my pain inside,
Will anyone set me free,
From these warning bells that ring,
Isn't anyone going to save me.
Don't just fuel my desire,
Don't keep me hanging on this knife-edge,
Pull me up don't drag me down,
Stop me from nearing this cliff-ledge.
I want someone to see my pain,
To save me from my tomorrow,
I need to explain how I feel,
But no-ones listening to my sorrow.
All I want is a little sanctuary,
A place to run away from myself,
A place I can hide from life,
Maybe some time alone would help.
Take my hand and guide me,
To a new paradise elsewhere,
Don't blame me if I miss you,
You don't understand I need to be there. |

Alright this one's got quite a lot of meaning, and it means quite a lot. The second and last stanzas aren't particularly good, but Cass liked it as it was so I kept it. [ View Trapezium's Profile ] [ Go to the Poetry Portal ] This Poem has been viewed 438 times
