Let me live, Let me burn

My heart heavy, my spirit sold.
I hear the drum of pounding feet,
My heart thumps to the beat.
The road of life's the one I walk,
Nobody passes, no-one to talk.
I have no destination,
I'm filled with desperation.
A sign for a crossroad up ahead,
Left or Right that's what it said.
I'm lost in my confusion,
My whole world's an illusion.
What does each way lead to?
Does one of these lead to you?
I don't know which way to turn,
Let me live, Let me burn. |
