Hero's Suicide

so helpless and weak...
A bad childhood,
memories engraved inside...
Poisoned with haunting thoughts,
he walks through life now.
Alive.
Joy filled in his eyes.
But deep inside,
there's the hidden cold sorrow shining through.
The few that see,
are frightened away...
you could feel the chill
coming from his stare.
I got too close,
and now I'm captured inside his darkness.
He's the host,
of this endless unrest.
I guess I asked for it,
ignoring his warnings and
the intensive misery.
I sit here drenched in the cold,
shivering and pushing through this.
It was worth it,
cause now,
he says I stole pain of what was his.
I'm his savior....
never thought I'd exist as someone more than
what I was supposed to be.
He's happy now,
for once in his life.
I'm depressed now,
for the rest of my life.
I forgot to tell him
that I'm a person that remembers
pain well.
Remembers every detail of despair.
Laying here,
I'm slowly wasting away.
Trying to forget his words
that make me want to stay.
Death cannot be stopped.
I'm sorry.
It's too late.
I'm a memory.
Just a memory.
That's dead,
lying in a grave. |
