» Poem: An unending life
An unending life
written by Morning Star
06:53 AM 10/23/04
Life has always held me down
God never gives my release
To live a lifetime of pain
And never to know death
Dying many times throughout
A life of broken promises
And a false ideal of hope
Yet never to stay down
Yet never to feel the sweet release
Of death's final embrace
Fallen so far into darkness
There is no light to be seen
Having seen what lies on both sides
Yet knowing there is no place for me there
Those realms are not for the living
And that is all I will ever be
You speak of your life being too hard
Wanting to die to end it's pain
Now I want you you to imagine
A life that is worse
No suicide to end anything
Cursed with life beyond all means
I never asked for this
Never wanted life anyway
Now it seems I got something worse
So to those with a suicidal thought
I have but these mere words
You cry for a life that doesnt go your way
And as I sit and cry this moment
I do so not for a life I wish to end
But for a death I can never see...
