I am sorry

It was ok to go drinking.
To wash away the blood,
Than to plant more impurities with the mud
I am sorry for ever running
Instead of finding a more cunning
Way to escape the darkness,
It was never really your business.
I am sorry for ever trying to push you away.
I didn't want to hurt you in any way.
I am sorry for ever hiding behind a lie.
I was scared you'd leave me to die,
If you ever knew every whole truth. |
