» Poem: Unprepared
Unprepared
written by Trapezium

As I lie on my death bed,
I realise I'm so unprepared,
These pills have gone straight to my head,
And I'm so fucking scared.

I never had the chance to truly say goodbye,
Just to tell you I'll talk to you tomorrow,
Now I think I'm going to die,
My thoughts are drowned in sorrow.

It's too early for me to leave,
Let's hope I'll live to tell my story,
I try to die and I'll survive; believe,
I'd say I'll miss you but I'm staying here with me.

All alone; fallen to my knees,
The door slams shut; the radio plays,
Oh god, take note of these pleas,
The walls are caving in but I'll live another day.
