» Poem: little china doll
little china doll
written by Trapezium

You would tell me you love me,
If ever I done something right,
But in your eyes I was always wrong,
You never told me you loved me,
You just hurt me because I'm not like you,
And I'm not what you want me to be,
I'm a freeform individual,
I wasn't moulded by your vice-like grip,
You only tormented me,
And made me want to be myself,
I thought we could be freinds,
Until I realised these mind games,
I realised that belts are wrong,
These are private little thoughts,
From a child in times of need,
I'm like a china doll,
So fragile and so weak,
But I'm not here for you to break me,
Whenever you so wish,
This little china doll made itself,
No matter how hard you tried to shape it,
It was always iperfect in your eyes,
And the imperfections are ugly,
You saw you couldn't shape me,
So she smashed me into a million pieces,
Well I'm sorry but I've picked up again,
And started life anew,
Don't think that you can judge me,
I've had enough of your pathetic idiosyncrisies,
Why wont you just realise,
I'll never be you!
