» Poem: Fate will lend
Fate will lend
written by IceBound

I've got all the time in the world,
to wonder how this day will end.
i've got all the time in the world,
to finish what i've started,
and not pretend.
i'm not exactly who i was back then,
wonderin where my life was going,
always askin who, what, where and when.
the inner child screaming for guidance,
all this provoking, and askin why this
had to end this way,
emotions always running away,
only me and myself here to stay,
it's time i put my past to lay.
i've got all the time in the world,
a straight-line representing life,
and just then, bends...
i've got all the time in the world,
or at least as much as fate will lend...
