» Poem: Dying Love
Dying Love
written by bleedblack
11:46 PM 10/26/04
Once flourishing with color
Now fading into black
Leaving the pain behind
And never turning back
I loved you so much
But this rage has to end
I can’t be happy anymore
I refuse to play pretend
We need to move on
Because things got too rough
I was an emotional person
But for that, you were too tough
You weren’t enough for me
And I was too much for you
Neither of us could take it
We were no longer true
So let’s say our goodbyes
And have no regrets
There’s no reason to cry
Because you I’ll never forget
