Sparkle in the Night

Pleading to the stars by night that this was meant to be
Hoping you can hear me begging for you to be safe
Crying every day and night, wanting to be brave
Why was your beautiful life taken away from here
What did you do so wrong that you could no longer stay near
Such a wonderful soul wasted by God’s greed
Taking what he wanted, not regarding others needs
Though I know you’re safe it’s still hard to believe
That God took you away from here therefore leaving me to bleed |
