» Poem: The truth about Love
The truth about Love
written by Sugar Free
01:07 AM 4/12/04
The two warring men tug at each other without cause.
Though different in mind set, they are identical in physique.
The never ending war of truth is frozen at a stalemate.
The deep volcano of passion gurgles lava to the rim.
Will it erupt ?
Or, will the magma just cool?
The red fog of lust can blind a soul
leading vulnerable souls to a fate of doom.
Will the battle of imagination vs. reality ever end?
Will this raw emotion prove its power?
Should we all live in fear of choking on love?s deadly poison?
Perhaps our hearts will never decide
who is to trust in this cloud of confusion?
Love is like a quicksand
the only direction to sink is down.
