» Poem: My Drug
My Drug

Holding on,
so tightly...
I never wanted this to happen,
I hope you wanted the same.

Memory lost,
you walk through life now
without knowing I'm still here...
waiting for you.

You have another girl,
in your arms...
smiling like how I used to.
She's walking down the streets,
confident,
knowing she has you
to catch her if she ever falls.
Just like how I used to...

But if she does fall,
I know you...
you'll abandon her.
Leave her in the sewers,
rotting like how I am now.

Rotten and bitter,
I look at your new life.
I still want to be a part of it,
stupid of me.
You're like a drug,
so addicting yet
dangerous.
