» Poem: The beauty of the bee
The beauty of the bee
written by Sugar Free
01:10 AM 4/12/04
I whispered to the bumblebee
He was trying to convince me not to pick the flower
Why must I sacrifice my pleasure for your well being?
This simple sacrifice brings greater beauty before me to enjoy

Beauty is nothing, I have a family to care for
Feeding my family frees me of the suffering
I strive to survive like a pear tree in winter
It is better to feel than see
It is better to live than die
We are fish on land

Your survival is simple
You live your life hated and unwanted
I respect that
I leave you with a flower and a wish of luck in the future
