How did I ever love you?

someone like you?
how could I be so stupid
and fall to your feet?
why did I hang on
when I knew you just used me?
why are you still
trying to get me to
fall to you again?
being with you never felt right
I just tried to convince myself
that it did if we made it
if we both wanted it to
but, in reality
I knew
you didn't want that
I was just so caught up in you
I didn't listen to the signs
like when you kissed every
girl that ever said one word to you
and you still have no idea
how much you hurt me
and when you came back
you wondered why
I wasn't all over you
and why I didn't want to feel
the pain of your so called love
all over again
I can't believe I fell for someone
like you
and I sit here
thinking how could I be so stupid
and put up with your bullshit
of telling me you love me
just to "get some"
how could you sit here today
and tell me you still love me?
damn....
I still ask myself that question..
