Open your eyes

i feel it in my figertips
down to the very core
of this so called "soul" of mine
so many ways to take my life
oh the possibilities...
laid out in front of me
waiting for me
to bring life like qualities to these weapons
to end it, to take it away from this place
"seek me...call me...i'll be waiting"
my cold heart to grasp the fact that this is it
this is the end, what i've waited for
for so long, the bell beckons me
calls to me, "this is your time..."
with my destiny chosen, i raise the gun to my head
barrel against my temple
close my eyes...NO!
shaking my head, i know it was her i saw
why won't she let me end this?
let this whole thing pass me by?
she's closing in, arms wide open...
why can't she understand?
now everything black...with words...
