» Poem: The magic glasses
The magic glasses

On the outside you could never tell the world I see through your thick orange frames

When I set you upon my crown, the whole world turns upside down

Dragons of goldern yellow take flight through the sky and a trail of orange sparkles cloud around their tails like a magical ora on heaven's ground

Long brittle men made of serpants yelp and moan in pain in the park where the trees once were

I feel so alone, like an everlasting candle flame in the darkness of a starless night

The magical world you possess is to much for me to digest

I take you off and set you down, and see the world as normal as can be

The trees are peaceful and lifeless, the sky is empty and clear enough to see my own reflection as if I were gazing into a pool of water

I take you off and set you down, with hopes tha the next passerby can stomach your expression

it was too much for me to digest. i had to read it a couple of times hoping that some ray of comprehension would enlighten. no such luck.
