Lamp-post Love

The soft touch of your skin,
How you taunted and you teased,
And let free the love within.
We stopped at every street light,
Bus stop and funny bar,
Every time we got a little closer,
Babe you shined like a star.
I loved every minute of being by your side,
And having fireworks go off as we kissed,
I know the time together,
Is something that will be missed.
How many times did we get beeped,
In the space of that little time?
Well baby it was worth the wait,
'cause them few hours your mouth was on mine. |
