Too Good To Be True

you're really the one
my "one and only"
you make me smile
just being around you
and my eyes light up
when you walk into a room
I feel we're so good together
that it's too good to be true
but, there's no way
something that feels this right
can ever be wrong
I can only hope we have
a lifelong future together
only time can tell
all I know is I love you,
you love me
and with you by myside
I can achieve anything.
I'm not afraid to jump off
the highest cliff
just to prove my love
and I wouldn't think twice
about putting my life on the line
just to save yours
that's why I doubt
that what we have
is too good to be true.
my heart full of stitches
with weak strings
is in your hands
it's starting to heal
and it can re-break
if you're careless
I'm giving you the key
to show that
I know I can make it with you
I want you to be the one. |
