BeLIEve

So bitter and hard to swallow,
The dead are the only to see
The example the blind world follows,
We’ve all become our biggest fear,
We sneak to church on Sunday,
Kill a nun on Monday,
Because the end is not near here,
They’ll blame it on him one day
But I hope not,to him I pray.
They choke on your disgusting lies
As you pull on your dainty disguise,
Anger rising in their red eyes,
The children know just what is wise,
Until you infect them with your harmful lies.
The Angel is a monster with a mischievous grin,
The darkness is consuming,a danger from within,
The lie is a stranger, desperately seeking in,
The little white church is burning
Anxious children squirming
Twisting and turning
To get a better look,
As the white smoke rises
Creates demons of all different sizes,
You make them read the Bible,
But they like it merely as a fairy tale book,
The devil’s face appears everywhere you look,
They have a false future for you written in a book,
And when you feel you’re at The End,
I have a broken heart to lend,
Cause you feel your heart will never mend,
So you’ll blame it on the Reverend
You are a monster God couldn’t have created,
Because of you my happiness has faded,
And I am only what you made me,
And I can’t last forever,
I took only what you gave me,
You made me but you cant break me
I’m stronger than before,
But when you are feeling blue,
You shouldn’t anymore,
For I am you,
I’m only you,
And you are me,too. |
