» Poem: somewhere
somewhere
written by Schizophrenic_broken

I'm calling you despite the pain
Never thought I'd hear you again
I heard me calling out your name
Somewhere, soaking in the rain

I realize that I'm the one to blame
And I won't make the same mistakes again
My life it's got so busted
Never thought I'd say your name
Somewhere, soaking in the rain

I know it must be 2 AM
I'm here inside a phone box
underneath a heart so heavy
And I've only got three minutes
'cause I'm down to my last coin
I hope it's not too late to say I'm sorry

Somewhere, soaking in the rain
Little numbers, they all look the same
If I woke you up,
it's just to let you know this girl don't hate you
Somewhere, soaking in the rain
Somewhere, soaking in my pain
