» Poem: tug o' war
tug o' war
written by Trapezium

It's funny when panic builds up inside,
And you don't have a clue why,
You don't know where it comes from,
And you just want to die.

Paranoid of rejection I might soon have to face,
Him or me who is she happy with,
Shall I make him happy and depress myself,
This time I'd rather not give.

I'll give her up if it makes her happy,
No matter how hard it may seem,
I just want her to know that whoever she has,
She'll still be in my dreams.

He'll do anything to get her back,
But it's only really for him,
Did he think about her in all of this,
Does he even know where to begin.

I know I'm making judgement,
And I don't know all the facts,
I can just see what I can see,
And I'll only run on these tracks.

If she's happy he can have her back,
I'm not trying to own her; to tell her what to do,
I just want her to be happy,
Even if it means we fall through.

I guess it's like a tug o' war,
Except I'm easy if it's right,
But I don't know the right or wrong,
I just don't know my plight.
