Goodnight forever

I'll sleep my eternal sleep,
I'll leave you by my royal oak coffin,
By my side you'll weep.
Notice the catch? I don't want you hurt,
To do such a thing would cause you pain,
I know if I done exactly as I feel,
Your tears would not refrain.
So instead I'll live another day,
And look at your pretty face,
I'll look in those eyes once again,
And I'll see amazin grace. |
