cold and heartless

but you hug me when I cry
you kick my ass
but you hurt inside
showing emotion
would ruin you
someone knowing
you can be weak
you can't play off
the whole
I'm a total bad ass
I don't cry thing
it doesn't work with me
I've always had to
watch from a distance
hear everything
from everyone else
I know you trust me
you're just scared
you think I'm gonna be
like everyone else
and tell them your
life's story
I'm not like them
I'm not a jerk
I'm your little sister
wipe the dirt off the glass
and see it's me
I'm real
not like your little
friends that say one thing
to your face
and say another
when you turn around
I know your heart has a soft side
when you see me cry
you run over there
and make sure I'm ok
you try to live up
to whatever your friends want
but you're not cold and heartless
you're the big brother
who was always there
and will always be |
