» Poem: Easier
Easier
written by Trapezium

Would what you do,
To ignore those behind you?
Walk on without a care in the world,
Walk on without a care.
What if you couldn't walk on?
And you're life was just a freeze frame.
How would you feel?
Upset,
Dejected,
Neglected?
Hell, I feel the same.
It's hard to feel any different,
To become unstuck.
When you're caught in a hole,
When you're caught in a ruck.
I'm trapped.
In every corner,
I face the wall.
In every corner,
I face the wall.
Do you realise how much significance this wall has?
I can't get around it,
Or over it.
I can't knock it down,
Or destroy it.
I just have to wait.
Problem is,
I don't know what I'm waiting for.
And time drags on,
When you're lying,
Alone,
On the floor.
Knock knock,
Open up, son.
We're coming for you.
Now there's nowhere I can run,
No place to hide.
Maybe it'd be a little,
Easier.
With you right here,
By my side.
