sleeples tonight

I don’t remember much about my dreams but all I know is I don’t want them. I roll over and over trying to sleep and all I can see is your face. I fight not to sleep I’m so tired but I don’t want to bring back these painful memories. And I finally do find myself to sleep I awake crying from seeing your face in my dreams. These black bags under my eyes are so dark and big I haven’t sleep in 3 days and this looks like I’m not going to sleep for the rest of the week. You are so close but far away from my touch. I try to sleep I cry and ask why, I need to sleep but I don’t want to dream about the old days. All I ask is to be healed and I cant every time I try I sleep and I dream and you are in everyone. Last night I fall asleep and I was sitting in a bath of my own blood and you came to me and wiped my tears away and told me it will be all okay but its not please I will always love you and I will never forget that friendship we had but please just let me sleep I spent most of my time hiding from you and no I don’t hate you it just hurts so much even to look at your picture. I see all these kids run around happy and I feel sorry for them because they don’t understand this cold dark world. I want them to feel pain and shut up about this “happy world” is that bad, for wanting them to feel sorrow. I just wish people would stand in my shoes and not tell me to let you go. I bite my lip and try not to say what I feel like yelling “ let go he took his life he was my only friend for five years” even now with more friends they are just pretend. It like im bleeding and laying in the street dying screaming for help and they laugh as if it was a big dream. If this is just a dream I want to wake up!
