Youth

When they're the new you,
They just follow your footsteps,
They're told what to do.
It's the authorities that fuck this nation up,
And then blame the young,
They were brought up by you,
Pointing that proverbial gun.
It's your fault the world's going to pot,
Yeah you're the ones to blame,
Some of them are outcasts,
They don't want to be the same.
Lets all blame the goths,
Or take it out on punks,
Just because they're different,
Doesn't mean they're drunks.
No wonder they resort to violence,
When you accuse them of something fake,
This world is not a giving one,
You bastards just fucking take.
The stress can cause them to die,
What if all the youth just vanished,
There would be no more future,
We'd be finished.
So consider the youth,
When you make your choices,
Don't you realise,
They are tomorrows voices.
If you fuck them up,
The worlds going down faster then now,
So just cut them some slack,
And be nice somehow.
Don't shift the blame,
When you know you're wrong,
Don't feed them lies anymore,
Don't fucking tag them along.
You say things are against your ethics,
Killing is one you name,
But the pain you cause your country,
Is killing without shame. |
