Twaddle
written by Trapezium07:53 PM 11/12/04I was in the driving seat,
Finally something going right,
Happy as a sun lark,
As it takes off on it's flight.
The control didn't last long,
I fell and broke down,
Waking up,
Lying in a tear-stained gown.
Wind flying through my hair,
Where the hell was I going,
I didn't have a clue,
No one was knowing.
Just walking around in circles,
Two villages on,
There was actually I chance to die,
A chance I could have gone.
And hell I didn't take that chance,
But I tried to say goodbye tonight,
I realised how much you meant,
When I listened to your cries.
A phonecall starting in tears,
Soon changed into something nice,
A few minutes together,
And I'm rescued from this vice.
Do you realise how much you mean,
How much those eyes reflect,
How many memories I enjoy,
From the short time that I respect. |
