» Poem: mountains
mountains
written by bloodlyvalentine
09:41 PM 11/13/04
what i see
ahead of me
a flat
open land
so soft,
my feet glide along
the sand
untill i see a mountain rise
right ahead of me
a black mountain
for me to cimb
a challenge of pain
on my journey

cimbed this first mountain
nearly breaking me
and finally came out
on the other side
feeling so free

what i see
ahead of me
no longer a flat
open land
so many mountains to overcome
so many more
before the end
