Torn

between love and hate
sadness and anger
my life has me spinning around
spinning so fast,
so dizzy
I'm senseless
I feel so helpless
even if I wanted the help.
My wonderful pride tells me
how much of a bitch I'd be
if I couldn't do it on my own
My past is locked safely inside me
I couldn't open it up
even if I wanted to
My past and the future
tears me apart
I want to let go of my past
or at least throw it into the sea
but I've been torn into so many ways
I don't think
the pieces of my puzzle
can ever be put back together |
