Same Mistakes

Tears falling from her eyes
Her nose is broken her face is bloody
Her clothes are torn and there all muddy
I stared at her with tears in my eyes
Once again she was with those guys
What happened to change the sister I used to know
Sis runs away claims shes got to go
She tells the cops my dad raped her
Even when she ran away we never escaped her
Dragged into the car drove away
To be questioned on a sunny summer day
What happened to my sister
It hurt so much I really missed her
Then on the phone she told me those lies
Shes the reason everybody cries
Now im getting older and I realize what went wrong
Ive started with the same shit the same craps going on
In this house I cannot escape
These memories these lies these thoughts of rape
All I want is for sis to come home
So I wont have to feel so alone
For me to greet her at the door
And not have to cry at night anymore |
