Hold Me Close

don't let go
stay with me forever
there's a silence
I look into your eyes
and with unspoken words
you tell me you truely love me,
this is no surprise,
you see it in my eyes too
leaving each other speechless
not knowing how to put
how we feel in
words, our eyes
say what our mouths
won't let us
it's comforting, in many ways,
just knowing I have you
and it heals some of the pain
of the past, just knowing
you won't leave me,
that you truly love me,
I swear I could look at you for hours
just me and you
looking into each other's eyes
and you holding me close
through the night,
and by morning time
our eyes, are still
locked on each other,
still not bored
of each other's faces,
knowing this love
will never fade. |
