Ambiguity
written by chaoticthoughts06:12 AM 11/16/04As she looks at herself in the mirror and stares back upon her reflection, she can't help but judge herself. Intimidating thoughts scramble chaotically through her head. Haunting memories of her once forgotten past recollect through her mind. She stands there isolated and frightened. She doesn't know whether to flee, or face her demons head on. She is in bewilderment as she glares back into the mirror. A small tear drop falls from her right eye, she realizes she can't go on living life in this manner. Corruption is her sister, despair is her brother, manipulation is her mother, antagonism is her father and propaganda is her only friend. She longs to end it, but at who's expense? Is she truly prepared? Would she successfully thrive in her endeavor? Is she willing to abandon all those who love her, although she is deadened to them? |
