lying to myself

ill be fine
i know im really not
inside
it seems the only thing
that keeps me strong
is the lies i tell myself
to help me get along
lying to yourself
till you cant see the truth
lying to yourself
till everything seems clear
but you know deep inside
thats not the way it is
if it wasnt for those lies
you wouldnt even be here |
