Drown Out

you don't get it when I say
leave me alone
I have a boyfriend, I've moved on,
your words have no effect on me anymore
I don't love you
you wanted to play
now you can go play somewhere else
not with me,
never again
every word I say seems to have no effect
on what you want
you still want me back
I drown out your words
cause you won't listen to my plea
please leave me,
I don't need you here
you've broken my heart
one too many times
and you still don't get that we're done
you keep telling me to
give you one more chance
leave me alone
you fuckin bastard
I don't want to be with you
you made me feel bad
I give you sympathy
for your self-pity
you know the right words to say
to make me cry
that has always made your day
just ruining mine
you think you can walk back in my life
and I'll come running back to you?
I'm crying now
because of you
you had to bring up the old times
the very good few we had
I'm trying so hard
to drown out your words
I know it's just cause you want me back,
I'm not gonna fall for your lies
or your charm
I've got another hand to hold
and my love to give to someone new,
better and not someone who's
anything like you
Yes I admit, I did love you...once,
but not anymore
you're hurting me with the past
but now all I can do
is drown out
the evil words you try to put into my head
you don't love me
you don't really care
you just want what you can't have
but you can't change my mind
all your words have been
drowned out |
