I don't know why I feel like this,
I just know it's how I feel,
I'm in an all time low,
Depression's official seal.
I wonder why it's like it is,
With people all around... but still alone,
I feel so sad so worthless,
Like a dog without it's bone.
I don't care I'm so "selfish",
Do selfish people do bad things to themselves,
And try so hard to be perfect,
To be someone else?
I'm not selfish just worthless,
Big difference I think you might find,
It's all in the head is it,
The small space you call a mind.
Just because it's small,
It doesn't mean I know my way,
So many dead end conclusions,
To lose another day.
I'm losing a neverending battle with myself,
There's no survivor in this fight,
And all the while there is darkness,
There is not a glimpse of light.
A sliver of crimson,
Run's through me like gasoline,
Drying my tears,
Making the most of my dream.
Hah my dream is made,
Mere insecurities and nothing more,
Why hide the light because,
There's none when you're dead on the floor.
