rain

I’m trapped here
You’ve captivated me
I feel I need to stay here in order to feel at all
It’s so cold
I’m shaking
I want to walk to you and hold you
But I can’t
Things aren’t that way
It isn’t that easy
People made things too complicated
Strings are tangled in my hair
They all expect something
Something they’re not going to get
The thunder roars
But I can’t hear
My heart drowns it all out
Like the flooding waters coming to destroy us all |
