» Poem: Silent Tears
Silent Tears
written by twistedmind33

Silent tears stream down my face
No one sees them, yet they are present
I try to hide within the walls of my soul
People keep breaking me down until I’m nothing
A speck of dirt in a colorful rainbow of people
Everyone appears the way they are in their head
No one can see past the lies and the hurt
They look towards you for strength, yet your struggling yourself
You aren’t the way they think you are
Only you really know what’s inside
