Reality Check

Is everyone really this naive?
Assumption is a dirty game
No one ever wins
No one will ever really die
Only you will take the plunge
The plunge of truth and trust
Get over yourself
You're not that hot
No one knows what I do
They see right thorugh you as another jock
But is that really what you are or is there more?
I don't think there is but I can dream
Make you someone else
Then you would know what it's like
The cold, emotionless stares
Reality
No gossip or lies
Only what's between you and I
Just swallow the pill
It'll do you good
You might want to read the lable
It's no fable
What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. |
