» Poem: My Last Goodbye
My Last Goodbye
written by twistedmind33

I try to tell myself that your gone
but how can I when I've loved you for so long?
They say I don't need a guy to make me happy
They say I'm just being sappy
But they don't understand how you were my lover.
They think I should accept it's over
I don't know what you were thinking
When you said you liked drinking
There's things about you that I'd wish you'd stop
Why can't you just substitute it all for pop?
Did you really love me after all
Or was I just a doll?
You think you can play with my mind
But I'm letting you know, I'm leaving you behind.
I don't know if this is the right thing to do
Things won't be the same without you
I'm going to miss your calls
I wish I could rewind and never fall
Just for one last time
I need to call you mine.
I got to go before I cry
Right here is my last good bye
