Lone survivior
written by Trapezium05:10 PM 11/18/04Blackened clouds sway overhead,
As lightning strikes the night sky,
Muddied battlefields littered with,
Bloodied bones and gaping eyes.
Rusted swords protrude from dead bodies,
I walk alone as a lone survivor this day,
Death's ultimate battle fought in hell,
Fires burn in the backround I had it my way.
This is the product of my dissaray,
The trophy of minority versus authority,
A battle of my evil versus the world's evil,
Darkness engulfed my path of being free.
I may be free but I walk the scene alone,
The fighting no longer takes place,
There's only my bloodied body to fight,
As I rot alone in my own space.
I sit on a rock watching the dead; unmoving,
I witnessed the pain this battle created,
I'm alone in the aftermath of destruction,
A lone survivor; hated. |
