Layaway

I'm just an item to you
I see you check me out
Then a minute later you see something that more fits your needs
So you put me on layaway
and save me for a rainy day
But I can't take it anymore
I want back on the shelves
Maybe someone who truely wants and needs me will come along
I know I sound hopeful
So now I change my mind
I'll stay and wait for you
Because deep down I know you care for me too |
