» Poem: Sprinkled Memories
Sprinkled Memories
written by TheDerangedSage
10:01 PM 11/19/04
bright tears sprinkled over
a gentle surreal rose
stem twirled in fingers so slender
your soul bore no contender

the rainbow showers’
colors fade in but a day
this pain yet to linger
as my soul wilts away

across the horizon of sweet melody
of caressing the wind to my skin
as lust creates your mentality
death will soon escape our final whim
