» Poem: The Path |
The Path
written by Sugar Free03:03 AM 11/20/04while on a journey long ago
a waywayd path i find
with tired feet, tasks incomplete
I pay it little mind
Yet with each step a whisper
a prayer for me to pause
and with time whole the only yoll
I see no greater cause
Onto the path I quickly turn
though riddled stone and moss
For dreams to wane for fear of pain
would be the greter loss
then on the wings of hopes and dreams
my feet quickly gain speed
though fast or slow the journey go
the path matches my beed
and when my time upon this path
reaches a bitter end
Imake it though this journey through
with you,my paht, my friend |

even though it had different themes, it had the same feel as shelley's 'ozymandias'. one of my favorite poems.
also, i continually to be the friend that walks with you on your path :). |
